Syd was invited to participate in the Folsom Jr. Bulldogs
Competition Squad this year and had the opportunity
to compete in the Jr. National Championship in Disneyland.
In fine Carrie Strug fashion (1996 Summer Olympics),
Sydney slipped the wrap off her sprained ankle, took
the stage and nailed her double toe loop with a triple
sow-cow flip (known to everyone else as a back handspring)
and single handedly (parent bias acknowledged) handed
the first place trophy to her teammates!

Coming as a surprise to no one, we crashed at Janet
and Keith's Bed and Breakfast for it's great rates,
tolerable hospitality and steller proximity to the park.
(Just kiddin' sis!) The picture to the right shows Peyton
and I as Peyton ready's herself for her maiden voyage
down the slopes of Matterhorn Mountain!
Summer
is getting close, the lake is rising, dad has reupholstered
the seats on "Breakin' Wind" and "For
Play" is just a tire and a tune up away from
being ready to go as well. This year Sevell (Shelly's
Dad) is adding to the fun with a jet boat that will
cross the entire lake in 3.27 seconds! Now we just need
Janet and Keith to bring down the jet skis and we'll
be a floating outhouse away from a full armada!
