Zoe!
We
lost a member of the family this first week of July. Zoe was
eleven years old and loved to play with Q-Tips, reptiles,
birds and Christmas tree ornaments. You'll be missed Zoe!

Turns 2!
Let the "terrible two's" begin! She's about as tough
as they come and, in the last few months, has decided she doesn't
have to take crap from anybody. |

Champions!
Syd was invited to participate in the Folsom Jr. Bulldogs
Competition Squad this year and had the opportunity to compete
in the Jr. National Championship in Disneyland. Syd's team
came in first place in their division! See the performance

concert. She is always "putting on shows" at home,
but I didn't realize how much more natural talent and "stage
presence" she has over other kids her age.

Syd's
10th Birthday Party(s)
These
days the kids have "Birthseasons" rather than the
more traditional "Birthdays". Sydney's Birthseason
included dinner at the spaghetti factory, the Justin Bieber
concert (see companion video below) and a slumber party.

Fever!
(Public Service Announcement)
"Bieber-Fever" is a rapidly spreading
disease which afflicts primarily - but not solely - pre-teen
to adolescent girls. Commonly known as "Bieber-Fever",
this disease is not to be taken lightly. I am sad to say that
should you dare to visit our house, exercise extreme caution...
touch absolutely nothing and by all means bring your own iPod
and never turn it off! Watch the video here for footage of
the horrific effects the disease inflicts on it's unfortunate
victims.

This Halloween was all about the girls...we had 2 princesses,
Sally from "The Nightmare Before Christmas" and
Shelly the Scarecrow. For my office Halloween costume party
I went as Conan O'brien, but I don't have any pictures to
post here.

out to the Salmon Falls bridge. As I'm looking out my window
right now to the crazy wind and pouring rain, this video makes

Another trip to LA for the premiere of Disney's "World
of Color" allowed us to spend some time stretching Sugarbear's
legs. We also ran out to Newport Beach for a bit. I wish I
could say that it was Shelly that wrote "I Love Jeff"
in the sand... but sadly, no... it was Janet.

Vacation!
We headed down south to the Lawrence Welk Resort Villas and
hit San Diego beach, Disneyland, Wild Animal Park, etc. These
are pictures of the trip and the resort itself, because I'm
a bit dorky like that.

Disneyland
trip for "The Littles"
This
was a trip just for the little girls as Christian and Syd
had been earlier in the year. Peyton's favorites were Nemo,
Tarzan Tree House and Fantasmic. Devyn enjoyed Small World,
and Winnie the Pooh. Once again, we crashed at Janet and Keith's,
who also logged some baby-sitting hours for us as well! Thanks
guys!

Cheer
Sydney's inaugural season on the cheer squad has been very positive.
Her team easily made the playoffs and we were sure their success
was directly related to the cheering going on along the sidelines!
Her squad took second place out of 8 teams in the area cheer
leading competition.

Football
Christian's football team returned to the playoffs this year,
but came up a little short. Christian was all over the field
again this year playing quarterback, tight end, safety, kicker,
punter, kick returner and punt returner. There are some fan

Francisco
Christian and Syd were vacationing with Auntie Janet in So Cal,
so we took the littles to San Francisco for the day. We had
a good time, but it was a ton of work... and, for all that,
Devyn doesn't remember any of it. |
